K-Pop Review: EXO - Miracles in December

EXO… STOP GIVING ME SO MUCH FEELS! This song is just so pretty… and sad. Their vocals are so beautiful it sends shrills down my spine, they convey the sad feel of the song so well. And honestly, this feels like a winter song, I just get the image of someone standing alone a winter night, crying, with the snow falling around him. And they convey the sad feeling if the song

The video really suits the feel of the sound, and not just with the setting and stuff. The video has the perfect lighting in every scene and they have all the right colors to convey the same feelings as the song does, and to tell the story of him being left by the one he loves on Christmas, even thou he’s done his best to make it a magical night. Dressing up, preparing the perfect gift, and so on. And it’s kind of the same story that the lyrics tell. A story of still loving the girl that left them, and still trying to become the kind of person he thinks she deserves. To be honest the lyrics in itself just makes me so sad, and with everything going so well together it’s hard not to cry…
