K-Pop Review: ChoColat - Black Tinkerbell

I’ve liked ChoColat for a while now, but for some reason I keep forgetting about them. x.x Their music is so amazing, and yet my brain is like: Who? And then I’m like, oooh…

 Black Tinkerbell is a song about feeling jealousy because the guy you like, and have for a while, is dating someone else. So basically it’s about a one-sided love, heartbreak and pain. And I think they convey that feeling quite well both in the song and the video. They make it really obvious in the video actually… But you can feel the pain in their voices, which I actually find kind or rare in kpop, especially in girl-groups for some reason, they’re just not that good at conveying feelings through their voices. I don’t know. They are usually really good at it in solos thou. Anyyyywayy… ChoColat are really good at it, and this type of song suits their voices very well. The sad, painful type of song… I guess these girls are just very good at sounding sad, because they did it really well in this song and in their last, ‘One More Day’.

I can’t say I like the dance in this video very much thou, I find it kind of lame and boring. Their dance for ‘One More Day’ was awesome, so I know they are really good dancers. But this dance was just… Boring. I mean, the part where they are dancing in water looks awesome, but practically any dance preformed in water looks kind of amazing. But the rest of it was not that good. It is really a shame, I think they could have created an amazing dance to this song. It just needed something more…
