K-Pop Review: VIXX - Voodoo Doll

Should I go, Should I stay, Nobody knows, Woo~
Should I go, Should I stay, Nobody knows, Woo~

VIXX is back!!! I mean, dark VIXX that I adore is back. Not that they’re not good at doing the innocent, cutie act, I just prefer them in this dark sound, it makes them different. And I like different.  It’s awesome. And so is this video, especially the R rated version. I mean, WHO has seen THAT in K-Pop before? I sure haven’t, thou I’m happy it looks quite fake, otherwise I might have had a hard time sleeping after this. Thou, that wouldn’t have stopped me from watching it! Nothing could! Haha, but no, for real, this song and video is just fantastic.

The song has an amazing beat, and  the chorus is quite easy to sing along to, and the tick tock part just stuck to my brain as soon as I heard it. And, like always, I’m in love with Ravi’s English. Well, I’m in love with everything that contains his voice… It’s just so… precious…? Well, with or without Ravi’s voice this still is my favorite song by these guys so far, and I really, really hope they’ll continue making music like this, I mean, there is a million groups playing on either the cute, innocent act, or the sexy one. But there is just one (that I’ve heard off) that plays on this dark concept, and that’s VIXX. And I really love it. I love it so much ♥

The dance is, simply, amazing. Well, that’s expected from my favorite group when it comes to dancing. But that beginning… it was just… just… just… wow. How did they even come up with it (well their choreographer probably did, but still!)? And the use of the Voodoo looking stick thingy! It was really cool that it was in one way or another always connected to the one who was singing or rapping. And the special effects in the R rated version… WAHHH!! ♥ Is it legal to be so amazing? It shouldn’t be, it makes me all fangirly! Ughh… I've been fangirling too much lately…

Anyways! What did you people think about the song and video! A slight warning thou; the R rated version contains, blood and torture, glass in places that looks very painful, and cutting, stapling, sewing and piercing places that should not have any of those things done to them (and no, do not think dirty!!), it’s age restricted for a reason (and again, not due to dirty reasons, due to violence/pain shown in the video that goes against Youtube’s policies), even thou I think it looks fake. If you can’t stand that sort of things I advise you to check out the Clean version, and not the R rated version.
